Obituary of Allan Edward Gough

Peacefully, at Watford Quality Care Centre on Saturday, April 29, 2017 Allan Gough of Strathroy at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (nee Swartz) and the late Kay Murray. Dear father of the late Robert (1950), the late Doug (2011) and Don (Linda) of Thunder Bay. Allan is survived by daughter-in-law Mary Gough of Strathroy, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his brothers and sister-in-law Cliff (Donna) Gough and Bill (Sheila) Gough. Allan was a Steam Thresher enthusiast and devoted a great amount of time with Don travelling to many Western Ontario Steam Threshers Association events each summer. He belonged to the Masonic Beaver Lodge No. 83 A.F. & A.M., Strathroy. Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, 32 Metcalfe Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Masonic Service will be held under the auspices of Beaver Lodge No.83 A.F. & A.M.of Strathroy at 6:30 pm. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, May 5th at 11:00am. Cremation to follow, with interment at Strathroy Cemetery.
