Obituary of Violet Katerberg

Peacefully on March 10, 2013 at LHSC (Victoria) after a short illness the Lord took her home. Violet Joyce Katerberg of Strathroy in her 53rd year. Beloved wife and friend of Bert Katerberg. Loving mother of Jason & Katrina Katerberg of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Cherished daughter of Cecil (2008) & Audrey Bowes. Dear sister of Janice (Ron) Ramsey and Jackie Bowes (Frank Cameron). Predecease by her brother Patrick. Daughter-in-law of Henk & Roelie Katerberg of Drayton, ON. Sister-in-law of Frances (Adrian) DeBoer, George Katerberg (Kylie), Joanne (Marty) Pronk and Susan (Todd) Collins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Violet worked for many years at Tim Hortons and although she didn't remember all of her regular customer's names she always knew what they took in their coffee or sandwich. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Tuesday, March 12 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the East Christian Reformed Church, Strathroy on Wednesday, March 13 at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Tim Horton Children's Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Violet.
