My heartfelt thoughts and feelings go out to all the family of Bruce and Pat, relatives and friends. While sad, I take comfort in some of the mentioned characteristics as noted in his obituary. His greatest achievement I believe, was his happy marriage and the ensuing raising of children. Obviously he was a 'people' person. His pattern of employment and activities as depicted, demonstrate that. Living locally his entire life, is no doubt a testimonial to his love of the area and its people. In more recent years when I saw Bruce, I learned that a passion of his was historical interest in the family name. My older brother Ron and I loved to hear that knowledge. I admired Bruce and trust you can find solace in knowing the man he was throughout his lifetime.

On behalf of the Bluewater Recycling Association, I would like to express our sincerest condolences for your loss. I will always remember Bruce for being part of our first team to launch the blue box and the Association locally. It was sort of a rebirth of his love of being the milkman for so many people. He shared many stories of those days and the truck he used to drive. It did provide some inspiration for the future recycling trucks to come. It would have been a highlight for him to ride that truck again last year. The thoughts of my family and those of everyone at the Association are with you. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.

For Bruce's Family.
Please accept my Deepest Sympathy on your loss.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bruce and Pat when I worked for Ilderton Tours and they accompanied me on many bus trips. I remember once Bruce decided he could watch the Blue Jays just as easily at home, Pat continued to travel to the games with us.
The last time I had a chance to speak with them was at Petrolia Playhouse one day when I saw them sitting on the bench out front before the show started. We had a wee catch up and was great to see them both.
Treasure your many memories of them both and hold them close to your hearts where they will always remain and remember that LOVE never dies.
RIP Bruce.
A loving couple together again.
Sincerely,
Linda Fox

Bruce and Pat were great neighbours. I had to go to Forest two weeks ago to the apartments to pick up some estate papers mailed to Mom’s old apartment address. I saw Bruce down in the lobby by the fireplace and gave him a big hug.
When we were on the farm he was our milk man too. He made freinds with our Doberman quickly by feeding him outdated sour cream and cottage cheese. Pat and Bruce are the best example of good people. Standards to live by.
They , now both will be greatly missed. My condolences to their beautiful family they were so proud of.❤️
