Obituary of Elma Dolansky

Born in England, formerly of Montreal, Quebec, Elma Dolansky passed peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre Strathroy, Ontario, on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, in her 93rd year. Elma was predeceased by her loving husband, Ben, and is survived by two sons, Mike (Sandra) Dolansky and Eric (Kris) Dolansky. Elma is fondly remembered by her grandchildren Erin, Sarah (Carlo), Matthew, Lyndsay (Scott) and great-grandchildren Sebastian and Ezra.

Elma was a McGill University graduate and recipient of the Governor General Award for academic excellence. A retired high school teacher, Elma was dedicated to local community service: Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Auxiliary, Strathroy Lioness, and Strathroy Lions, to name a few.

A private service will be held at the family's request, with a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
