Obituary of James Wardell

On Monday August 29, 2011 at the family farm. James Malcolm (Jim) Wardell of Strathroy in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Joyce (Merriam) Wardell (2008). Loving father of Doug and Susan Wardell, Strathroy and Robert and Shelley Wardell of Strathroy . Loving grandfather of Julia, Matthew and Stephen Wardell and Luke Wardell. Dear brother of Roy (Kay) Wardell Kerwood, Helen Martin (Lee Weber),Strathroy and Ila Herrington, Arkona. Rememberd by nieces and nephews and the Merriam family. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Margaret(Campbell) Wardell and his brothers Allan, Ross and Lorne Wardell. Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME LTD. STRATHROY on Thursday September 1, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm where complete funeral service will be held on Friday September 2, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Bruce Gibb officiating. Lunch at the Legion Br. #116 Strathroy to follow service. Cremation will take place and private family interment will be in Strathroy Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Von Elgin-Middlesex Palliative Care, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would appreciated by the family.
